Meet Rocket,, a 2 year old Pocket Bully who is looking for a loving home with a very special family. When undergoing his neutering op our vet suspected that there was something not right with his front right elbow joint and recommended that we have him X-rayed. These were done yesterday and unfortunately these confirmed his suspicions. It's unclear if the problem was caused as a result of an injury when he was a puppy which didn't heal correctly or if it's a result of bad breeding practices. Either way there's not really anything which can be done to remedy the problem - even a very expensive elbow replacement operation would be no guarantee of a successful resolution. Basically he is likely to suffer from arthritis and he will need medication throughout his life. This is why he needs a very special family, one who will commit to caring for him and his medical needs for life. A big ask but we have to try. On the plus side he is a very, very loving and affectionate little chap who doesn't seem to let his'problem' get him down.
