Hamish, approx. 3 years old is looking for his forever home. When he arrived here he was very nervous; he was scared of everyone and everything. No one had previously managed to get a lead on him so he'd never been walked. It's taken a while but he's improved immensely. He's still nervous of strangers, so any prospective adopter would need to be patient and take time for him to get to know them. He could live with another calm dog, indeed we think it would be beneficial for him. He also needs a calm household. Ideally he needs a rural home - he's not used to traffic and he's very nervous around vehicles. He does love to run so a decent sized garden would be best - or someone prepared to take him regularly to a secure exercise field. We realise that these criteria will rule a lot of people out but we really need to find a home that is right for him. We're sure that home is somewhere out there.
