CONINGSBY RESCUE

Update on Jethro. As many of you know, Jethro had suffered abuse and neglect prior to arriving here. He's been doing really well since, he's had a health check, been vaccinated and neutered - and he's put on much needed 3kg in weight. He's such a lovable character who loves attention, fuss and cuddles. We're now accepting applications for this lovely chap. He's a lively, exuberant bundle of energy - because of this he'd do best in a home with no young children but would be fine with teenagers. He's often walked here with other dogs without any issues, so a home with another dog may be suitable for him but defiantly no cats.
It's now time for young lad Jethro to enjoy the love and comfort of a home of his own.
Recently two abused and neglected dogs were abandoned. Sadly one was so poorly that she passed away (See last 2 pics - RIP sweet girl. so sorry for what that appalling excuse for a human did to you) Thankfully this handsome lad survived his ordeal and is now with us. We've named him Jethro. We're not accepting applications for him yet, as he needs to be health checked, vaccinated and neutered before he's ready for adoption. We also need to assess him fully. Early signs are good, he seemed very scared when he arrived yesterday but today when he went out for a walk he was very affectionate. We'll post updates as and when he's been assessed and ready to go to a forever home.
