Meet 3 year old Boycey, our newest arrival. His owner recently died and was then looked after by a friend. He wasn't able to keep him and had him booked into the vets to be pts. Thankfully the vet refused to do it - and then the rescue network sprung into action to find a place for him. When we were contacted we couldn't say no. He's a little fearful but we're sure he'll soon settle down and relax- he just needs time and tlc.
We are now inviting adoption applications for Boycey. Anyone interested must read this post thoroughly before applying.
Boycey needs a pet free, child free home. We cannot currently rehome out of county. Applications from anyone who doesn't meet these criteria will NOT be considered, no matter how dog friendly your cat is,how well your dog gets on with other dogs or how 'dog savvy' your children are.
Boycey can be fearful of strangers, so ideally we would welcome applications from people who are prepared to visit him a few times before adopting him.
All applications should be either by direct message to the Coningsby Rescue Facebook page or by email to email@example.com. - NO text messages or phone calls. These will not be answered. Please give us a brief outline of your circumstances/lifestyle so that we are able to best match potential adopters to Boycey's needs. We do expect a lot of interest in him - and we just do not have time to respond to every message individually. All applicants who adhere to the criteria above will receive an acknowledgement which will mean that your request has been received and will be considered. Please don't bombard us with further messages asking how you application is progressing. If you are shortlisted we will let you know in due course. Thankyou.
